ACCREDITO SCD expands the offer of loan products to small entrepreneurs through a partnership with the BNDES’ MSME Channel

Last September 6, ACCREDITO Sociedade de Crédito Direto - a financial institution controlled by ACSP - Associação Comercial de São Paulo ACSP - established an important partnership with BNDES - Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Social. This initiative aims to increase the offer of loan products on the MSME Channel from BNDES, focused on small entrepreneurs who need financial resources to maintain or expand their business.

The MSME Channel is a BNDES digital platform of financial and non-financial solutions for helping entrepreneurs develop their companies, addressing the main challenges faced by micro and small businesses: difficult access to credit, partly explained by the lack of credit history, the inability to provide collateral and the low level of formalization. The goal is to offer access to loan products from more than sixty partners and financial institutions accredited by the Channel, starting the financing process or addressing other related services with security, transparency and ease in the application and monitoring process. The partnership also supports the BNDES’ efforts to integrate Fintech solutions into the MSME Channel, including issues such as credit analysis, financial education and matching credit seekers with fintechs or financial institutions. The BNDES Channel has already accredited over ten fintechs - institutions that, through the intensive use of technology, can offer credit alternatives to entrepreneurs, expanding their options. The MSME channel works as a “hub”, presenting the loan products available and the conditions of rates and terms practised by each financial institution. The credit application process is carried out directly on the website of the selected fintechs.

Today, we take another important step towards fulfilling this vocation, qualifying for the BNDES’ MSME Channel.
