Youngest elected mayor in the history of Barretos, Guilherme Ávila took office in 2012 at just 33 years old. Responsible for the administration of the city with approximately 110,000 inhabitants, Ávila had his management approved by the people of Barretos, being re-elected in 2016. Over the years, his promises became reality and what is observed today is a thriving city full of public achievements, highlighting the evolution of its infrastructure and investments in education.
Physiotherapist by training, Guilherme Ávila was born on December 9, 1978, in the city of Barretos. In addition to his passion for the city, the young manager keeps eight dogs in his house and takes care of many others in institutions.
